Bharathi Education Trust was started Bachelor of physiotherapy course in the year 2019 - 2020. The aim of the course is to provide comprehensive, individually focused training that prepares the students for providing quality physiotherapy care to the patient.
Bachelor of physiotherapy is a four and half year course and after completion of the course they will be able to examine, evaluate, diagnose, plan and execute and document physiotherapy treatment independently are along with the multidisciplinary team. In addition to clinical practice other aspect of physiotherapy practice includes Research, Education and public health administration.
G. Madegowda College of physiotherapy is started at Bharathinagara, inside BET campus. Our institution is well equipped with all the state of the art, equipments, infrastructure, laboratories, library, digital library and hostel facility. We have bedded fully functional superspeciality hospital with all the specialists for in house training, clinical teaching and research activities for different fields concerned with physiotherapy.
Motivated well qualified faculty available in our institute for taking care of the academic and overall development of students. We have other institutes present in the same campus like Allied health sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Naturopathy and Yogic science.
The hostel available in the campus caters to the nourishment in all the south Indian variety dishes in a healthy and safe environment with proper mentorship available throughout their stay. With three full fledged batches currently pursuing their bachelor’s course in physiotherapy (BPT).
Our institution is making a steady progress in climbing the ladder of growth and success in the faculty concerned with the constant encouragement and support from the chairman, trusties, director of health sciences, Bharathi Education Trust. /div>
It is sure that in the upcoming years our institution will be a shining star in and around this region of Karnataka in the field of physiotherapy. The long term goal of our chairman, BET is establishing this institute as a research and postgraduate centre in the coming years steadily converting our baby steps into a long march in achieving the same .

The college has entered into MOU with MIMS, Mandya for clinical postings in various departments. We have our own hospital inside the campus, Aster G Madegowda Super Speciality Hospital, for excellernt clinical experience to the students. We have MOU with various NGO'% for community based rehabilitation like children home and old age home.
Regular periodic examinations are conducted throughout the course. Three sessional examiation are conducted during I, II, III and final year. Average of the 3 examination marks are reduced to 20 and 10 for theory and practicals respectively . Students must obtain 35% marks in theory and practicals respectively to be eligible for university examinations.
University exams for the first,second, third and final year are held at the end of the session with prior intimation from the university (generally sep-oct ). Examination of the main subjects are held by the university whereas the subsidiary subjects are conducted by the college.
Main subjects- 50% marks in both theory and practicals seperately. Theory marks are computed by adding the internal assessment marks and the viva voice to the university exams.
