Bharathi Education Trust has its headquarters at BET campus, Bharathinagara, Maddur Taluk, Karnataka. It was founded in 1962 by Dr.G. Madegowda, the honorable ex-member of parliament and former minister, govt. of Karnataka. It is aimed at fulfilling all the educational, cultural, social and other aspirations of the people in and around Bharathinagara, which was then a small hamlet of no significance.
Dr.G.Madegowda is the founder Chairman of the Trust and his sincere, unrelenting efforts have led to the establishment of several institutions at Bharathinagara, Hanumanthanagara & Kirugavalu under the auspices of B.E.T. The B.E.T is now managed by trustees.
